Space age bachelor pad

Is it wrong for a man to be envious of his hamster? Above is our hamster's habitat, or one of them any way. This is his fun palace (it has a running wheel). His other pad is a much more spacious, though more traditional residence.

    Yesterday 2 shrimps were added to Eliza's fishtank. They clean up brown algae apparently. One of them has vanished, presumed eaten by Agnes. The other, Bob, scuttles around doing his shrimp thing and hiding inside a plastic log.

      Hmm, let's not be too hasty here. I'm not so sure about this Bob character - scuttling and hiding. Just what is he hiding in that plastic log of his?
